Non-Surgical Facelift in Newport Beach, CA

Facial aging rarely happens in one layer. Over time the cheeks deflate, the temples hollow, the jawline softens, skin loses collagen, and the muscles that create expression etch deeper lines. At Beauty Boost Med Spa in Newport Beach, our non-surgical facelift addresses each of those layers with a combination of PDO threads, Filler Boosts, collagen-stimulating injectables, energy-based skin tightening and Botox, planned as one coordinated treatment rather than a collection of separate appointments. Our team of expert injectors, led by founder Anisa Mudawar, DNP, FNP-C, builds every plan around your anatomy and goals, aiming for a rested, lifted version of your own face rather than a different one.

What a Non-Surgical Facelift Can and Cannot Do

A non-surgical facelift is a set of minimally invasive treatments that lift, restore volume and firm the skin without incisions or general anesthesia. It works best for mild to moderate laxity, early jowling, mid-face volume loss and changes in skin quality. It cannot remove excess skin, and it will not reproduce the degree of repositioning a plastic surgeon achieves with a surgical facelift. When someone has significant skin excess along the jaw and neck, we will tell you that surgery may serve you better.

Research supports treating the face in layers. Rohrich and Pessa (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 2007) showed that facial fat sits in distinct compartments, which helps explain why targeted volume restoration in specific areas can lift and reshape the face more naturally than filling lines alone.

Our Signature Non-Surgical Facelift Approach

Our Signature approach works from the deepest support outward. Not every patient needs every layer.

Lift: PDO Thread Lifts

PDO threads are dissolvable polydioxanone sutures placed beneath the skin to reposition tissue that has descended. Our Mid-Face Lift supports the cheeks and softens smile lines, our Lower Face Lift supports the jawline and helps with jowls and marionette shadows, and the combined Mid+Lower Face Lift addresses both. A brow thread lift gently raises and shapes the brows. Over three to six months the body absorbs the threads and produces new collagen around them, which adds firmness after the initial lift. Evidence on longevity is still developing, and a systematic review by Gülbitti and colleagues (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 2018) found thread-lift results to be shorter-lived than surgery, which is why we pair threads with volume and collagen treatments. Learn more on our thread lift page.

Volume and Structure: Filler Boosts and the Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift is the use of injectables alone, mainly hyaluronic acid filler, to restore the structure that holds the face up. Replacing lost support at the cheekbone, temple and jaw can lift the tissue below it and soften folds indirectly. Our most common Filler Boosts in a non-surgical facelift are the Cheek Boost, Temple Boost, Jawline Boost, Chin Boost and Marionette Line Boost. For full-face planning, The Facial Balance Boost combines five targeted treatments, either five Filler Boosts or four Filler Boosts paired with Botox in the forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet and brow. Explore the full menu on our Filler Boosts page.

Collagen: Sculptra and Radiesse Collagen Boost

Collagen stimulators rebuild support gradually rather than all at once. Our Sculptra Collagen Boost uses poly-L-lactic acid to stimulate collagen in the deep dermis of the temples, cheeks, mid-face and neck, with a minimum of three treatments recommended and results that can last up to two years or longer. Our Radiesse Collagen Boost uses calcium hydroxylapatite to provide immediate contour along the cheeks, jawline and chin while stimulating new collagen, with results that can last 12 to 18 months or longer. See our Sculptra page for details.

Skin Tightening: XERF and Sylfirm X

XERF skin tightening uses multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency with integrated cooling to support collagen remodeling at several tissue depths, with no needles, no numbing and no downtime, and we commonly recommend a series of two treatments. Sylfirm X RF microneedling refines texture, fine lines and laxity on the face, neck and delicate eyelid skin, typically over a series of treatments.

Muscle: Botox

Botox relaxes the muscles that pull the face down or deepen lines. In a non-surgical facelift we often use it for a subtle brow lift alongside the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet, and for the neck through treatment of neck bands and our Nefertiti Neck Lift, which relaxes the platysma to reduce its downward pull on the jawline. Results typically appear within 3 to 14 days and last around three to four months.

Built Around Your Face

Every non-surgical facelift at Beauty Boost begins with a consultation in which we study your facial structure at rest and in motion, review your medical history and talk through your goals and budget. Where appropriate, we use ultrasound imaging before treatment to map blood vessels, locate any previously placed filler and assess tissue planes, which supports safer planning in higher-risk areas such as the temples. Vascular complications from filler are rare but serious, and careful planning helps reduce that risk. We also screen for factors that affect candidacy, such as pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection, certain autoimmune conditions and blood-thinning medications. We price per area rather than per syringe, so your quote reflects the treatment your face needs, and we can phase the plan over several visits.

What to Expect

Many patients begin with threads or Filler Boosts, then add collagen and skin tightening treatments over the following months. Filler results are visible immediately, with swelling easing over a few days. Thread lifts take about 30 to 60 minutes and require roughly two to three weeks to heal fully, with mild swelling, bruising or tightness most noticeable in the first several days. Sculptra and Radiesse may cause mild swelling or tenderness for a few days, and XERF has no downtime. Botox reaches full effect in about two weeks. After your initial plan is complete, we build a maintenance schedule, typically Botox every three to four months, filler touch-ups as needed, and periodic collagen or XERF sessions to support long-term skin quality. Results vary from person to person.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long does a non-surgical facelift last?
Most patients find XERF treatments comfortable and well-tolerated. The system incorporates advanced cooling technology designed to maintain skin comfort throughout the procedure without requiring numbing cream or anesthesia.
A liquid facelift uses injectables such as hyaluronic acid filler to restore lost volume and structure, while a thread lift uses dissolvable PDO threads to physically reposition sagging tissue. Fillers support the face from beneath, and threads lift it and stimulate collagen. At Beauty Boost, we often combine the two because volume loss and sagging usually occur together.
The cost of a non-surgical facelift at Beauty Boost Med Spa depends on which components and how many areas your plan includes. Your exact investment is reviewed with you at consultation, and we share current new patient specials when they apply. Injectables are priced per area rather than per syringe, and you receive a personalized quote at consultation.
Downtime after a non-surgical facelift ranges from none to about two to three weeks, depending on the treatments. XERF has no downtime, and Botox and filler usually involve only mild, temporary swelling or bruising. A PDO thread lift takes roughly two to three weeks to heal fully, although many patients return to normal activities sooner.

There is no single best age for a non-surgical facelift; candidacy depends on the degree of volume loss, laxity and skin quality rather than age alone. Earlier changes often respond to collagen and volume treatments, while more advanced laxity may need threads plus injectables, or surgery.

A non-surgical facelift is considered low risk when performed by a trained medical injector after a thorough consultation. Common side effects include swelling, bruising and tenderness. Filler carries a rare risk of vascular complications, so at Beauty Boost we use careful anatomical planning and, where appropriate, ultrasound imaging to map blood vessels before treatment.

A non-surgical facelift cannot fully replace a surgical facelift for patients with significant excess skin or advanced sagging. It is best suited to mild to moderate changes, and when surgery would serve you better, we will tell you during your consultation.

Most non-surgical facelift plans at Beauty Boost are completed over two to four visits spread across a few months. Threads and fillers are usually single sessions, Sculptra requires a minimum of three treatments, and XERF is commonly done as a series of two. Maintenance visits follow based on the products used.

Good candidates for a non-surgical facelift are healthy adults with mild to moderate sagging, volume loss or changes in skin firmness who want natural-looking improvement without surgery. Treatment may be postponed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection or certain medical conditions, which we review during your consultation.
